Lanzarote top for sun

Lanzarote in the Canary Islands has been named the best sun destination at the annual Irish Travel Trade awards. Lanzarote attracts more Irish visitors than any other destination in Spain, according to the Spanish tourism agency. Stena Line finished ahead of rival Irish Ferries for the second year in a row in the category of best ferry company. The award for best business class airline went to British Airways, where Willie Walsh has recently taken over as chief executive.
